Welcome to Distinctive Doors. Since we began in business as Doorshed in 1993, we have supplied doors as well as stairs, frames and fittings to homes and businesses across the UK. We are specialist suppliers, committed to supplying you with the right product for your needs so if you’re looking for high quality yet affordable exterior doors or interior doors, you are in the right place. Our wide range of external doors include oak doors and hardwood doors for the entrance to your home. Alternatively, we stock triple-glazed external doors if you are looking for something which lets in more light.
Our glazed doors include a range of sliding and folding doors and French doors. One area where we pride ourselves on being both highly competitive is providing high quality bifold doors for patio door areas. Our Smoothfold is our premier product for those wishing to match their oak doors but we also have bifold hardwood doors and white painted softwood bifold doors.
As well as traditional front doors, our elegant entrance door sets and purpose-made joinery can provide a distinctive entrance to your home. By combining a made to measure frame with standard stock doors and side panels we can create a beautiful entrance while keeping the costs as low as possible. We are able to supply in Far East Mahogany as well as the ever popular Oak and double glazing or triple glazing is included. A Pre-Hanging service is also available.
We also supply interior doors. Our classics are available in a wide selection of timbers including walnut doors, beech internal doors and oak internal doors . These are in standard shades and also in contemporary finishes such as white oak. Amonst these ranges are the following types: White Oak Doors with Raised Mouldings. Pre-finished White Oak Doors with Raised mouldings. White Oak Doors Unmoulded. Pre-Finished White Oak Doors without Raised Moulding. High Spec ‘Supermodel’ doors by LPD. Walnut Doors with and without raised mouldings.
Our door frames are manufactured either “off the shelf” or we can produce a very high quality, made-to-measure frame specifically for your individual requirements. For both external and internal doors, we can supply just a door for your existing frame and fittings, or just a frame for your existing door, handles and fittings. If you need the complete package we can add the door or frame then fittings to match, and we can advise on combinations which will work well together.
