Note : The timber used for the frame is generally Sapele while the doors and/or panels are a Meranti or similar (and may use mixed species). This means that there is a colour difference (the frame is usually darker) which can be exagerated by your stain/varnish. We do not recommend the use of a clear varnish as this will make the difference more pronounced.
