Our Frame Purpose Made Goalpost Oak & Hardwood is manufactured from either Oak, Far Eastern Mahogany or Paint Grade Hardwood. Manufactured to order to suit standard door sizes.
The goalpost frame is designed with just a frame head and 2 door stiles, but does not have a cill. This type of frame is best suited where you are fitting onto a new or existing stone or concrete step or threshold.
Often this type of frame is fitted ‘in check’ (behind the brickwork). Our standard frame section sizes are shown to the left to enable you to judge if this is suitable. It is not a requirement that the frame is fitted in check and it is quite normal to fit the frame in the outer leaf of the building.
For stability, these are manufactured using engineered components.

Note : Legs are left long and can be trimmed to suit threshold if required
Note : Opens inwards with brown seals unless you specify otherwise
Note : Head and cill lugs are left on for transportation. These need cutting off for installation. Frame legs are left long and need trimming on site
