If you are very security conscious then a Multi Point Lock can offer peace of mind. The Vectis Multi Point Locking System uses hook bolts to provide anti-jemmy security along the locking side of the door. Combine this style of lock with hinges with built in Hinge Bolts for security along the swinging side.

The Vectis Multi Point Lock also has the benefit of using a regular style key which protects against Lock Bumping for even more security. ERA Security Products have released the Vectis Lock in response to this growing problem as Bump Keys can now even be bought online (Google Search)
